NEPTUN SMULDERS Engineering is the merger of the long-established NEPTUN WERFT shipyard in Warnemünde and the international steel construction company Smulders. Together, we bring all the expertise required for the comprehensive design and efficient construction of maritime structures. Behind this are the family-run MEYER Group and the international construction group Eiffage.
Offshore converter platforms from Rostock
Our business is green! Our converter platforms convert the alternating current from wind farms at sea into direct current in order to transport large amounts of energy over long distances with very low losses. We supply turnkey systems with high-quality steel construction and all technical components. And we want to go even further: In future, we want to convert surplus energy into green hydrogen for shipping and industry on land.
